Together with friends and colleagues, I co-founded an independent local music festival as a not-for-profit in 2012. The goal was to create an internationally-recognized, immersive, independent music organization reflecting Ottawa's vital new music, culture and community. Along with artistic direction and curation, the festival has been a vehicle for my skills in responsible marketing, community partnerships, design, social innovation, and export development.

From 2012 - 2018, the festival succeeded in showcasing hundreds acclaimed national artists, while vaulting ground-breaking local acts. I've developed the festival's innumerable national and community partnerships, curated hard-hitting cultural talks, and worked to provide attendees with sustainable food and drink. Notably, the festival has also raised the bar on equal representation and accessibility, as we provide welcoming forum for music of all genres, diverse communities, and unafraid to face our collective responsibilities towards reconciliation.
